Stats for the EPIC travel sabbatical - Planes, trains, and automobiles

Before I write up my final blog post, I wanted to provide an overview of our travels:

Duration: 319 days, over 110 moves, 40+ hotels, 25+ Airbnbs, 15 friends & family’s places, 20+ campgrounds, 2 backcountry ‘huts’ in New Zealand

US/Canada road trip: San Francisco to New York via Quebec; New York to Detroit.

22 States: HI, CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, SD, MN, WI, MI, ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, NJ, NY, PN, OH

Canada – Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City

Total miles driven in my beautiful ’05 Acura TL = total miles driven in US: 12K

Trains – 3 bullet trains in Japan, countless trains, trams, etc. around the world, including a train in Italy that was loaded on to a ferry from the mainland to Sicily.

Sicily – 1,000 miles

Spain – 500 miles
