First trip detour

We left our friends house in Sacramento on May 16 intending to spend some time in Lassen Volcanic National Park. This would have been the first use of our new National Parks pass, but the weather turned and made us change our plans. Lassen received 3 feet of snow that week! So, no way to get into the park. We decided to head to the coast early to spend time in the redwood forests. The rain continued ☔️ 🌧
